    • An electrohydraulic actuator is provided, which comprises a working cylinder (22), having a piston (23) comprising a first and second piston surface (231, 232) displaceable in said working cylinder and two working chambers (24, 25) designed in the working cylinder (22) and bounded by the piston (23), as well as electric control valves. Of the two working chambers (24, 25), a first working chamber (24) that is permanently subject to high pressure is bounded by the first piston surface (231) and a second working chamber (25) is bounded by the larger second piston surface (232). The control valves alternately establish a connection of the second working chamber (25) to high pressure and low pressure.     • The invention proceeds from an axial piston machine of swash-plate design having a piston drum (14, 36), wherein the piston drum (14, 36) is connected fixedly to a drive shaft (12) so as to rotate with it, which drive shaft (12) rotates about a rotational axis (10). The piston drum (14, 36) has a plurality of first cylinders (16) which are arranged substantially parallel to the rotational axis (10). The first cylinders (16) are arranged on a first circle (58) having a first diameter (59). A first piston (18) which can be displaced between a first bottom dead centre (24) and a first top dead centre (26) along a first translatory direction is arranged in every first cylinder (16). Every first piston (18) can be coupled in a manner which can transmit pressure along the first translatory direction to a swash plate (4) which is arranged in an articulated manner and can have its inclination with respect to the rotational axis (10) adjusted. According to the invention, the piston drum (36) has a plurality of second cylinders (38) which are arranged substantially parallel to the rotational axis (10). The second cylinders (38) are arranged on a second circle (60) having a second diameter (61). A second piston (40) which can be displaced between a second bottom dead centre (46) and a second top dead centre (48) along a second translatory direction is arranged in every second cylinder (38). Every second piston (40) can be coupled in a manner which can transmit pressure along the second translatory direction to the swash plate (4).
