摘要： A limiting current-type sensor for polarographic measurement is used to determine the oxygen content of gases, in particular in exhaust gases from internal combustion engines. The sensor has an inner pump electrode (2) lodged in a tunnel (4) behind the tunnel inlet region (4'). Both Knudsen and gaseous diffusion take place in a filling (6) with diffusion channels (8, 9) in said tunnel inlet region. The diffusion channels (8, 9) create a diffusion barrier which substantially reduces the temperature and pressure dependence of the sensor.

Said paste is used to produce a welded joint between ceramic materials and a metal contact surface. Preferably, the inventive paste is pressed onto the ceramic material. The ceramic material is subsequently sintered with said paste and the metal contact surface or metal is welded thereto.

The ceramic substrate is fixed in a frame which carries a covering which is pervious to heat radiation to a great degree and which, in turn, carries a layer having a window over one of the two NTC resistors the layer is made of a material which reflects the heat radiation to a great degree.

A conductive paste (16) which is converted into a strip conductor by means of sintering is guided on the laminated composite in such a way that it is electrically insulated from the same. Said ceramic insert connects the upper side of the laminated composite to the lower side thereof in an electroconductive manner by means of the electrical feedthrough.
