摘要： A polytetrafluoroethylene-containing powder mixture comprising polytetrafluoroethylene particles (A) with a particle size 10 .mu.m or smaller and organic polymer particles (B), thermoplastic resin compositions containing it, and molded articles obtained therefrom. The polytetrafluoroethylene-containing powder mixture provides higher dispersibility for polytetrafluoroethylene in thermoplastic resins, and is effective for improving the molding workability and mechanical properties of thermoplastic resins.

摘要： A polyester resin composition obtained by melt-mixing a mixture comprising resin components comprising as main resins(A) a thermoplastic polyester resin and(B) a polyorganosiloxane graft copolymer obtained by graft-polymerizing one or more kinds of vinyl monomer containing at least an epoxy group-containing vinyl monomer onto a compound rubber in which a polyorgano-siloxane rubber and a polyalkyl (meth)acrylate rubber have been inseparably united with each other. According to the present invention is provided a polyester resin composition in which the impact resistance of a thermoplastic polyester resin, a main constituent, has been improved over a wide temperature range including low temperatures below 0.degree. C., and which provides molded products having good appearance.

摘要： A polyester resin composition obtained by blending 60 to 99 parts by weight of a thermoplastic polyester resin (component A), 1 to 40 parts by weight of a polyorganosiloxane graft copolymer (component B) of 0.08 to 0.6 .mu.m in average particle size obtained by graft-polymerizing one or more kinds of vinyl monomer onto a compound rubber having such a structure that 1 to 99 wt. % of a polyorganosiloxane rubber component and 99 to 1 wt. % of a polyalkyl (meth)acrylate rubber component, the total amount of both the rubber components being 100 wt. %, have been inseparably entangled with each other, the total amount of the components A and B being 100 parts by weight, and 0.01 to 10 parts by weight of an organic silane compound having an epoxy group (component C). The polyester resing composition of the present invention is excellent in impact resistance, particularly impact strength at low temperatures, gives molded products having a good appearance, and also can be used under severer conditions and in a wider range than before.

摘要： An artificial marble is herein disclosed which comprises a polymer (A) of a radical polymerizable vinyl compound, an inorganic filler (B) having an average particle diameter of 1 .mu.m or more, and a colloidal metal oxide (C) having an average particle diameter of 1 to 100 nm, the metal oxide (C) being uniformly dispersed in the state of substantially primary particles in the polymer (A). The colloidal metal oxide (C) can be uniformly dispersed, whereby a high flame retardancy can be imparted to the artificial marble, and the inorganic components can be filled in a higher ratio without impairing aesthetic properties peculiar to the artificial marble.

摘要： A synthetic resin molded article having good antistatic properties is disclosed, which is composed of a body of a synthetic resin (B) having a surface layer which is predominantly comprised of an antistatic polymer (A) and is integral with the body (B). The antistatic polymer (A) mainly composed of units of a quaternary ammonium base monomer of the formula: ##STR1##wherein R.sub.1 is H or methyl, R.sub.2 through R.sub.4 are H, unsubstituted or substituted (C.sub.1-9) alkyl, m is 1-10 and X.sup.- is an anion of a quaternizing agent. The molded article is made by forming a film of the antistatic polymer (A) on the molding surface of a casting mold, casting a polymerizable material to be formed into the synthetic resin (B) as the base material in the casting mold, and polymerizing the polymerizable material to form a body of the synthetic resin (B), simultaneously rendering the film of the polymer (A) integral with the body of the base material.
