      SOLUTION: The expansion steel pipe comprises a deformed pipe body with a watertight structure in which cylindrical sleeves with strength high enough to prevent deformation from being caused by the addition of high water pressure are mounted at both ends, respectively. The pipe body comprises the expansion steel pipe and a spacer bar. The portion of the pipe body except the portion adjacent to the sleeve is composed of a flattened cross section in which one surface is generally flat and the opposed other surface has a recess at the lateral center, and so formed that an injection hole is formed in either of the sleeves. The spacer bar is placed on the recess of the expansion steel pipe. An increase in the height of the cross section of the pipe when the flattened cross section portion is expanded and deformed into a circular cross section by the injection of the high pressure water from the injection hole is utilized for the restoration of the settled foundation.
