    • When a pinion gear body rotates co-axially with rotational axis of the take-up drum, a first rotation body which is fixed to the pinion gear body co-axially rotates relatively to a second rotation body which is mounted to the pinion gear body co-axially, as well, and does not rotate during initial rotation of the pinion gear body. The engagement member that has thus projected gets engaged with the take-up drum. In this stage, the engagement member is pressed and moved by a guiding portion of the second rotation body in response to the relative rotation so as to be guided in an outward radial direction.

    • A torsion bar is mounted inside a take-up drum with its one end fixed thereto for disabling its relative rotation with respect to the take-up drum. A slit is formed in parallel to rotational axis of the take-up drum and allows one end of the webbing to pass through. At one end of the webbing, there is provided a slip-off prevention member. Length consisting of the slip-off prevention member's diameter and thickness of the webbing surrounding the slip-off prevention member is longer than distance between outer-diameter-side surface of the slit at the take-up drum and outer diameter surface of the torsion bar inside the take-up drum so as to prevent escape of the slip-off prevention member therefrom. The slip-off prevention member's load to depress the take-up drum in fully-pulled-out state of webbing is received by both the torsion bar and the take-up drum, which can improve webbing-pull-out intensity.

    • A method for turning a flexible tube inside out which comprises the steps of turning a flexible tube inside out at its one terminal end, fixing the terminal end having been turned inside out, inflating the flexible tube to almost a circular shape in cross section at the turning point where the tube is turned inside out and at that portion extending from said turning point to said fixed terminal end having already been turned inside out, while squeezing the unturned successive portion of the flexible tube extending from said turning point to the other terminal end. The portion which has been turned inside out and the unturned portion of the flexible tube is permitted to move along an axis extending outward from the fixed terminal end, thereby continuously shifting the turning point from the fixed terminal end to the other terminal end over the full length of the tube. The present method is effectuated either by applying fluid pressure internally to a confined chamber containing the flexible tube, said chamber being provided with a means for withdrawing one terminal end of the tube from the chamber or by using a selfrotatable endless doubletubing while drawing the flexible tube which is fixed at one terminal end thereof.
