摘要： An ultrasound generator for acoustic irradiation of pathological changes of a human body comprises a planarly fashioned piezo-electric transducer which is acoustically coupled to an acoustical lens on one surface by a soft metal layer and is acoustically coupled on the opposite surface by a second soft metal layer to a dampening member. The soft metal layers act as both acoustically coupling layers and as electrodes for the piezo-electric transducer. The piezo-electric transducer can be formed of either a plurality of layers which are spaced apart by soft metal layers acting as electrodes, a single piezo-electric plate, or a plurality of plates arranged side by side in the same plane.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for acoustic irradiation of a pathological change in a patient comprising a housing containing a shock wave generator positioned in a fluid-filled focusing chamber closed by a membrane characterized by a ring of elastic material being secured to the housing and surrounding the membrane and projecting beyond the membrane while in an idle position. The ring is provided with a channel system to allow evacuation of air from the space between the ring, membrane and the skin of the patient and also for introducing a coupling fluid into this space. The housing includes a channel for introducing additional fluid into the fluid-filled focusing chamber to cause the membrane to be expanded into the space and to engage the skin of the patient with a thin film of the coupling fluid disposed therebetween.

摘要： In a method and medical device for determining the coordinates of images of marks in a volume dataset, the marks are disposed on the surface of a subject, and the volume dataset represents the images of the marks and an image of at least the part of the subject on whose surface the marks are disposed. A data processing system stores the volume dataset. The volume dataset is picked up by a first imaging medical device and represents an image of at least a part of the subject on whose surface several marks disposed and images of the marks. With a navigation system, a relation of the coordinates of the volume dataset to the coordinates of the subject is provided in the form of a coordinate transformation during a registration.

摘要： In a method for expanding the display of a volume image of an object region, in particular in medical applications, in which at least one first image data set of a larger object region is made available, at least one second image data set of a smaller object region is acquired, the smaller object region lying within the larger object region, and the first 3D image data set is brought into registration with the second 3D image data set. A synthesized 3D image data set is generated from the first and second 3D image data sets and visualized in a display. The first 3D image data in the first 3D image data set represent the smaller object region, if necessary after a suitable adaptation of the first and/or of the second 3D image data set, are replaced by second 3D image data of the second 3D image data set with identical scaling and alignment of the image data sets. An overview of the larger object region thus is possible, and the smaller object region of interest the image can be represented with up-to-date data as well as a higher resolution and/or a higher contrast.

摘要： A medical diagnostics installation comprises components for portraying an examination region on a monitor and includes an operating unit which is spatially spaced from the monitor and has a control unit, either a sensor field, a joystick or a key field, for acting on a data processor for controlling the components. The data processor includes a data store that contains data corresponding to different operating menus, and these menus are capable of being called in via the operating unit and are displayed on the monitor. At least one operating condition of the medical diagnostics installation can be produced by the operating unit and the operating menus correspond to the operating conditions being displayed on the monitor are only the operating functions required for this operating condition. The operating functions are controllable via a mark or cursor which is controlled by either the sensor field, joystick or key field.
