The device includes a central body and a suction channel located on an underside of the central body extending at least partially around a periphery of the central body. A rim extends downward from the central body, and may define a portion of the suction channel. A fluid collection trough extends at least partially around the periphery of the central body to collect fluids that fall on the upper surface of the central body. The outermost peripheral edge of the suction device may comprise at least one concave portion extending radially inward toward the central body.

摘要： Durable protective covers for drains and other holes are provided which prevent spills and unwanted liquids from flowing therein. The protective covers include a durable backing layer and a pliable, tacky sealing layer which conforms and adheres to a surface surrounding the drain to reduce or eliminate the flow of liquids into the drain. A low-density bonding layer is provided between the pliable, tacky sealing layer and the durable backing layer in order to provide significantly improved adherence between the layers.

摘要： A tool for being inserted in a hole, especially a hole in an earth formation, and adapted for being rotated in the hole. A cutting element moveably mounted on the tool is provided for cutting a groove in the hole and, if the tool is moved axially in the hole while rotating, a helical groove will result. The cutting element is retractable to permit removal of the tool from the hole. The hole with the groove formed therein is adapted for receiving a roof bolt or the like which is cemented in place and the aforementioned groove improves the strength with which the bolt is held in the hole.

摘要： A catch basin is provided for insertion into a pre-existing storm drain connected to a storm drain system, the storm drain having a shoulder around its upper periphery for supporting a pre-existing, perforated storm drain cover. The catch basin selectively controls the flow of liquids and viscous materials into the storm drain system, and includes a flexible, fluid impermeable container extendable into the storm drain with its edges extendable over the storm drain shoulder about the periphery thereof. The flexible, fluid impermeable container includes a drain hole providing an outlet to the storm drain system. A rigid valve member is attached to the flexible, fluid impermeable container and is configured to selectively open and close the drain hole. The rigid valve member includes a vertically extending wall surrounding the drain hole and extending upward therefrom a distance h to define an opening. With the drain hole open, liquid accumulating in the flexible, fluid impermeable container will not pass through the drain hole until the liquid rises to a level exceeding the height h of the vertically extending walls surrounding the drain hole. The catch basin further includes a plurality of vertically extending leg members attached to the rigid valve member, with each of the plurality of vertically extending leg members having a horizontally extending flange engagable the storm drain shoulder on top of the flexible, fluid impermeable container to maintain the catch basin within the storm drain.

摘要： An absorbent tablet is provided for the quick and convenient cleanup of persons, dirt, grime, spills, leaks, drips, sprays, etc. The absorbent tablet generally includes a substantially rigid backing sheet and a plurality of absorbent sheets stacked on top of the backing sheet, one on top of the other. Each of the absorbent sheets has absorbent properties for addressing dirt cleanup and liquid cleanup and containment. A binding element binds the backing sheet and the plurality of absorbent sheets together along one edge thereof to form the absorbent tablet. A weakened line is formed in each of the absorbent sheets along the one edge thereof adjacent the binding, enabling individual absorbent sheets to be torn and removed from the tablet. The absorbent tablet may be hung at an appropriate location for use via a hanging element connected to the backing sheet and designed for such purposes.
