    • PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a circuit by erasing character working information and graphic working information written in only one group of three color memories, i.e. red, green and blue. CONSTITUTION:A working information deciding circuit 3 sends information to a character color information decoding circuit 71 and a character writing erasing circuit 61 when the information to be displayed is characters, and sends the information to a graphic color information decoding circuit 72 and a graphic writing erasing circuit 62. The circuit 61 erases the writing of the working information of character data having prescribed bit and byte length from three displaying color memories 8-10. On the other hand, the circuit 62 erases the working information of graphic data in each bit from the memories 8-10.
