    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long life disk drive device with the avoidance of a large size, by elongating marginal evaporation time of a lubricant by suppressing the evaporation speed of the lubricant filled in a fluid dynamic pressure bearing. SOLUTION: In the disk drive device 100, a hub 20 includes an outer circumferential wall portion 20c configured to retain a recording disk 120. On the plane of the hub 20 side, a base member 10 includes a cylindrical portion having the rotation axis of the hub 20 as a center axis. The fluid dynamic pressure bearing retains the lubricant 28, so as to support the hub 20 in a rotatable manner to the base member 10. A ring-shaped suction plate 44 including a magnetic material is fixed to the base member 10 in a manner to oppose to a magnet 24 in the axial direction. The outer circumferential wall portion 20c is configured to surround the suction plate 44 in such a manner that the range of the outer circumferential wall portion 20c in the axial direction overlaps with the range of the suction plate 44 in the axial direction.
