    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost excavator that requires no large-scale construction yard, shortens a construction period, and achieves excavation as a permanent structure or into a horseshoe shape or hood shape suitable in terms of outward appearance while minimizing loosening of the ground.SOLUTION: A partition wall 4 in a horseshoe or hood shape is fitted which has an earth removal opening 4a in the front of an outer shell 1 in a horseshoe or hood sectional shape having an arch-shaped upper part and a rectangular lower part is fitted, and a rotary cutter 7 which evacuates ground in an arch shape is fitted to a front upper p art of the partition wall 4. A rotary body 8c which rotates on its axis is provided at a slightly backward position below the rotary cutter 7, and a plurality of eccentric cutters 8 are fitted to the rotary body 8c so as to excavate the ground in a rectangular shape by the rotation and revolution. Driving means is provided which rotates the eccentric cutter 8 and rotary cutter 7, and an earth removal device 10 is provided which conveys earth and sand taken in the machine from the earth removal opening 4a of the partition wall 4 backward.
