    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent the collapse of soil grains even in a subgrade apt to loosen and stabilize the subgrade, in a sealed type rectangular boring machine which constructs a conduit line of rectangular cross section.SOLUTION: A hood 7 having a length covering above a rotary cutter 5 is attached to a forward end surface of an outer shell 1, a filler supply pipe 8b with a check valve 8a for supplying a consolidation type filler A to be filled between the hood 7 and a subgrade G is arranged inside the hood 7, and a discharge port 8 of the consolidation type filler A is opened in a top face of the hood 7. When a rectangular boring machine is advanced, the rotary cutter 5 excavates the subgrade G while the hood 7 penetrates the subgrade G, and the subgrade G above the rotary cutter 5 immediately after excavation is immediately supported by the hood 7 before th subgrade G can be even collapsed. Accordingly, collapse can be prevented even in the subgrade G apt to loosen. Furthermore, since the consolidation type filler A is filled in a place in front of a barrier 3, the subgrade G can be early stabilized as compared with the case of a conventional rectangular boring machine.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide jacked-pipe moving equipment which horizontally moves a jacked pipe, suspended in an adit, to a starting position in a main vertical shaft in the state of placing it on a supporting base, and which prevents damage to an outer surface of the jacked pipe by eliminating friction associated with the movement of the jacked pipe during a pipe jacking operation.
      SOLUTION: A traversing guide rail 4 for making the supporting base 6 traverse between a suspending position and a starting one, and an advance/receding guide rail 5 for making the supporting base 6 advance/recede between the starting position and a complete-pushing one are installed on a foundation trestle 3. The supporting base 6 is provided with a hook 6f which makes the supporting base 6 on the guide rail 5 disengageably engaged with the foundation trestle 3. When the jacked pipe moved to the starting position is pushed from the rear under the state of the placement of the jacked pipe on the supporting base 6, the jacked pipe is jacked while the supporting base 6 travels on the guide rail 5. Thus, since the jacked pipe is moved integrally with the receiving base 6 when jacked, damage to the outer surface of the jacked pipe is prevented by virtue of the absence of the friction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable cutting even when a reconstruction device meets a steel collar and a pouring socket and prevent operation of an excavator from being stopped due to jacking of a new pipe even when jacking the new pipe to enable smooth reconstruction of a pipe. SOLUTION: A starting shaft and an arrival shaft are newly provided adjacent to respective inner sides of an existing manhole to be reconstructed. A freely running cutting machine provided with a plurality of rotary blades runs in the existing pipe from the starting shaft to cut the existing pipe and a connection member by the rotary blades. Filler is filled into a space in the existing pipe cut simultaneously with the cutting.
