摘要： Image data photographed by a video camera 20 are compressed by a compression and decompression circuit 5, the compressed image data are recorded in an incorporated type semiconductor memory 6 or disk-type memory 13 fixed in the video camera 20 and the recorded image data are transferred to an external recording device 23. Further, the external recording device 23 records the transferred image data in a data storage while they are being compressed. The video camera 20 receives, decompresses and converts into a television signal the compressed image data read by the external recording device 23 in reproducing them. A video camera system capable of recording and reproducing long hours of image data by using a video camera having an ultra small size comparable to that of an 8 mm video cassette can be realized by using such a construction.

摘要： A digital recording/reproducing video camera apparatus which externally receives analog video and audio signals as a standard video signal for data compression and recording. Selection switches for switching between a camera pick-up mode and a line input mode are switched to their terminals a in the camera pick-up mode and switched to their terminals b in the line input mode. An output signal of a CCD is sent via an amplifier, the switch and an A/D converter to a digital signal processing circuit to generate color and luminance signals. The generated color and luminance signals are fed to a data compression/expansion circuit to remove redundant parts therefrom and then sent to a HDD for recording. In a line input record mode, a line input signal is supplied through the switch and A/D converter to the digital signal processing circuit to generate the color and luminance signals. The video camera apparatus may include a video signal processing circuit for detecting a time base error in 1 sampling period or less of the synchronization signal caused by performing Y/C separating/demodulating operations on a digital signal and moves a center of a video part in response to its detection result.

摘要： A magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus equipped with an image sensor, has a camera portion having an A/D converter for converting a signal from an image sensor into a digital signal and a first digital processor for receiving an output of the A/D converter and for digitally processing thereof. A VTR portion of a helical scan type mounts at least two or more of magnetic heads for recording/reproducing a FM modulated luminance signal and a low band converted chrominance signal. A second digital processor processes a video signal of the VTR. A switching circuit is provided in a preceding stage of the A/D converter. The image sensor signal, an external video signal and a reproduced signal from the magnetic heads are exchanged. The output of the A/D converter is inputed to the second digital processor, and a sampling clock of the A/D converter is exchanged to the most appropriate clock for the respective image sensor signal, the external video signal and the reproduced signal from the magnetic heads.
