摘要： An imaging apparatus which can correct a shaking of the hand whether a moving picture is taken or a still picture is taken. Exposure is carried out within a shorter time than a predetermined exposure time to output a charge. Exposure and delivery of charge is carried out plural times to accumulate charges. An address for accumulation is changed in accordance with information of a shaking occurring within the shorter time and a signal due to the shaking and a signal before the shaking are accumulated at the address. Alternatively, a camera-shake is detected by using a sensor such as a gyroscope adapted to detect an angular velocity or an acceleration of a shaking of the imaging apparatus itself.

摘要： A camera system having an analog interface through which any one of camera head units can be selectively connected to a chrominance/luminance signal generator unit. The camera head unit includes an image pickup device, a drive circuit, and a synchronizing signal generator circuit. The chrominance/luminance signal generator unit includes a camera processor circuit, a Y/C separation/demodulation circuit, and a signal identifying circuit. Synchronizing signals are added to the output signal from the camera head unit, and used for the kinds of signal to be discriminated. The camera processor and the Y/C separator/demodulator are switched in response to the results from the identifying circuit. Therefore, the signals from a plurality of camera head units can be switched and processed by a single signal processor, or chrominance/luminance signal generator unit.

摘要： The present invention provides for designation of a prescribed area within an image as an initial extracting area, extraction of an area which fulfills the conditions determined according to the characteristics of the specific image from an image signal of an image, generation of comparative area signal presenting an area slightly larger than the extracted area which is necessary for fulfilling the conditions from the area extracting signal of the designated initial extracting area, comparison of the comparative area signal that has been generated with the candidate area signal through which the initial extracting signal of the initial extracting area is converted into an area extracting signal, and extraction of an image signal within the area determined by the new area extracting signal. As a result, the image which fulfills the conditions other than the specific image is eliminated as the extracted area that has been set as an initial extracting area changes to coincide with the specific image and only the object image which fulfills the conditions is extracted. Furthermore, since the area extracting signal is stored in a memory and used for generation of the next area extracting signal, the extracted area will follow the changes in image area owing to increase in size or movement of a specific object, thereby making it possible to extract a specific image in realtime.

摘要： A video camera is provided not only with means for receiving any general captured images but also with means for receiving images from any other video input source. The video camera is also provided with an image input arbitration section that captures, after arbitration, video data coming from these two input means, and stores the resulting data into a memory. As such, when the video input source is a video output terminal of a car navigation system, the screen of the car navigation system, i.e., map information, can be stored in a memory together with a user's captured image. When the video camera is used for monitoring, data capturing into a memory is also enabled when the video input source is a medium already carrying therein map image data, e.g., USB flash memory and SD card, and means for reading the map image data from the medium. The data in the memory is subjected to a process of compression and encoding as moving images so that the image of position information and the user's captured image can be processed as a set of moving images. This accordingly enables to provide a system and method for recording and reproducing a set of moving images of the combination of an image of position information and a user-captured image with no need for a complicated process.
