    • PURPOSE:To have automatic adjustment of car height in compliance with the condition of road by setting a target value in accordance with oscillation in sensed car height. CONSTITUTION:Potentiometers 12-15 are furnished at the front and rear suspension devices 1-4 to sense the car height. The car height sensed off is placed into a car height control device 20 and micro-computers 231-233 control valves 7, 8 so that the target car height is attained. The car speed signal is obtained through car speed meter cable 28. LED display alleys 271, 272 give indication of the car height. The CPU 231 calculates the time system smoothed value for the sensed car heightto set a target value for the car height according to the oscillation in the smoothed value for the sensed car height. Because car height is determined according to oscillation, the car height is kept at the optimum always in compliance with the condition of the road.

    • PURPOSE:To quicken brake operation reliably by detecting approach to an obstacle when backing then exchanging a solenoid valve by the detected signal and operating a master cylinder by pressure medium. CONSTITUTION:An obstacle is detected by supersonic wave to be transmitted from a supersonic wave circuit, and upon approaching within predetermined distance from said obstacle a high level signal is provided to one input port of AND gate 25. When the gear is entering into back step and the brake pedal is not stepped, a high level signal is provided to the other input port of AND gate 25. The output from AND gate 25 will cause turning on of a transistor 16 to excite a solenoid 31 in a solenoid valve 30. Consequently the valve 30 is exchanged to provide the atmosphere to one chamber 43 of two chambers 43, 44 in an actuator 40. As a result, the actuator 40 is driven and a master cylinder 51 is operated.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a push button shift switch mechanism by sending push buttom switch signals to a solenoid valve through a comouter circuit to hydraulically operate a switch valve communicating to the solenoid valve for sending hydraulic signals to a hydraulic circuit of an automatic transmission.
CONSTITUTION: A computer 2 permits first and second solenoid valves 3, 4 to be operated by pushing a botton P for parking. Aslo, second and third solenoid valves 4, 5 are operated by a button R for reverse, and the second solenoid valve 4 by a button N for neutral. By pushing a botton D for D range become inoperative all solenoid valves. The first solenoid valve 3 is operated by two buttons for 2 ranges and the first and thrid solenoid vavlves 3, 5 by 1 button for 1 range. Thus, hydraulic signals from the first, second, third and forth output ports 24, 25, 26 and 27 of a switch valve 11 are supplied to a hydraulic circut of an automatic transmission to provide a desired travelling condition of a vehicle.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a creep preventing mechanism by providing a creep preventing switch and an acceleration switch in a push button system shift switch mechanism to operate a solenoid valve through signals of these switches for providing the neutral range. CONSTITUTION:Since creep phenomenon is offsetted when the shift position is in the retreat of R range, the creep preventing action is not effected. When the shift position is in the advance range, a creep preventing switch is turned on and an acceleration switch is turned off, i.e. when a car is started even immediately after stoppage, the specified advance range is held. However, when vehicle speed is maintained at zero condition for n seconds determined by a timer, the neutral range N is reached to prevent the creep. Such function is incorporated in a computer of a push button system shift switch mechanism so that the creep phenomenon can be securely prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To inflate an air bag in an early stage by foreseeing a collision and prevent the air bag from miss-explosion. CONSTITUTION:This air bag equipment for side collision is equipped with a substance detecting sensor 12, which outputs collision foreseeing signal by detecting a substance approaching the side of a vehicle body, and a collision detection air bag 13 which inflates and projects on the side of the vehicle body when the substance detecting sensor 12 outputs a collision foreseeing signal and thereby detects collision before the substance collides with the vehicle body. This air bag equipment for side collision is further equipped with a differential pressure switch 23, which detects a collision and outputs an electrical signal when the pressure inside the collision detecting air bag 13 become more than the specified pressure, and a crew protecting air bag 16 which inflates and develops inside the vehicle when it receives the electrical signal from the differential pressure switch 23. Thus an air bag can be developed by accurately detecting side collision before a substance collides with the vehicle body.
