      SOLUTION: A headrest raising/lowering mechanism 20 is provided with a base member 22 fixed to a seat back 10a of the seat body; a pulley 23 turnably supported at the base member 22, feeding an internal wire 17b in association with the rearward sliding operation of the seat body, rewinding an internal wire 18b and turning in one direction, and rewinding the internal wire 17b in association with the forward sliding operation of the seat body, feeding the internal wire 18b and turning in the other side direction; a turning arm 27 turnably supported at the base member 22 and turnably driven by the pulley 23 via a driving gear 24 and a sector gear 28, and a slider 30 engaged with the turning arm 27, converting the turning motion of the turning arm 27 into the linear motion and raising/lowering the headrest.

      SOLUTION: The vehicular seat is composed such that a headrest support frame 21 for supporting a headrest 31 is rotatably supported by a seat back frame 11 so that the headrest is forwardly movable. The vehicular seat is provided with a first airbag 33, which is arranged at the upper part of the seat back frame, and a second airbag 34 provided at the lower part of the seat back frame and made to communicate with the first airbag via a tube 35. The second airbag is compressed by a backward movement of an upper body of a passenger when a vehicle rear-end collision occurs. The first airbag is operated by air inflow into the first airbag via the tube. Then, the headrest support frame is rotated so as to forwardly move the headrest.
