    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery of which the breakage is prevented from occurring by preventing the running of a wheelchair from being performed during charging, and at the same time, of which the cost can be reduced by simplifying the internal structure of the battery.
      SOLUTION: This battery connecting structure for an electric wheelchair 1 includes the battery 10 which includes: a receptacle port 11 for power source which is installed on the rear side of an electric wheelchair 1, and in which a power source connector 30 for feeding power to drive the electric wheelchair 1 is inserted; and a receptacle port 12 for charging in which a charging connector 24 is inserted. In this case, to the charging connector 24, power is fed from a commercial power source, and charging is performed. The battery connecting structure for the electric wheelchair 1 is constituted in such a manner that at least a part is covered by shielding sections 31 and 32 for which the receptacle port 12 for charging is integrated with the power source connector 30, in a state wherein the power source connector 30 is inserted in the receptacle port 11 for power source.
