    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat apparatus can ensure the safety of a neck part of an occupant by urging a headrest in the same direction to the force for moving the headrest upwardly, or rapidly move the headrest to the neck part protecting position without any interruption in a rear end collision of a vehicle.
      SOLUTION: The vehicular seat apparatus includes a stay 22 for supporting a headrest body 21, a support bracket 31 for supporting the stay 22, a sub frame 30 which supports and fixes the support bracket 31 and is guided and supported by a seatback frame 10, a load inputting mechanism which is arranged in a seatback 1 and moved against the spring force by the input load of an occupant seated in a vehicular seat, a movement and transmission means 7 which transmits the movement of a pressure-receiving member 53 to the headrest body 21 and moves the member to the protective position, and an urging means for urging the headrest body 21 downwardly. The urging means urges the headrest boy 21 downwardly in a normal state, and reduces the downwardly urging force to the headrest body in a process where the headrest body 21 is moved to the protecting position in a rear end collision.
