    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide an arrival point corresponding to a rout which leads to a destination point even when the present own road does not connect thereto.SOLUTION: The guide information generating device transmits a piece of search condition information which contains search conditions of a destination point to a search server. The search server returns a piece of information on the destination point as a search result made by the search server based on the search conditions. In a candidate location database which stores plural pieces of information of candidate points, to which the relevant road has a connection, while associating with the relevant point, a candidate point, with which the candidate point information having a similarity level greater than a predetermined reference is associated with the destination point information, is identified as an arrival point. When the arrival point is identified, a piece of first guide information showing a rout to the arrival point is generated. When the arrival point is not identified, a piece of second guide information, which shows a rout to a point nearest to the destination point in several points on the road, is generated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate harmful effects caused by steam of fuel entering a fuel pump 11, while cooling a nozzle 36a of an injector 36 for intake-port injection with the fuel after a stop of an engine 1 to allow formation of deposits to be effectively prevented.SOLUTION: A fuel injection device includes an injector 36 and a fuel pump 11 that supplies fuel to the injector via a fuel supply pipe 10. The fuel injection device includes: a cooling passage 37a that communicates with the fuel supply pipe 10 and cools a nozzle 36a of the injector 36 with circulating fuel; a return pipe 14 for returning fuel to a side of the fuel pump 11; and an electromagnetic valve 15 (on-off valve) that is openable and closable between the fuel supply pipe 10 and the cooling passage 37a. The fuel pump 11 is activated, and the electromagnetic valve 15 is opened to circulate fuel to the cooling passage 37a, during a predetermined period after a stop of an engine. After the predetermined period elapses, the fuel pump 11 is stopped and the electromagnetic valve 15 is closed.
