    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently secure centering accuracy of a constituting element of a damper mechanism while restraining dimensional increase in an axial direction and a radial direction.SOLUTION: In a starting device 1, a second intermediate member 14 constituting an intermediate element of a damper mechanism 10 is centered by a turbine hub 7 as an output member, and a drive member 11 as an input element is centered by a second plate member 142 of the second intermediate member 14 via an annular part 82a of a clutch drum 82. Thereby, compared to a case where all of the drive member 11, the second intermediate member 14 and a driven member 15 as an output element of the damper mechanism 10 are centered by the turbine hub 7, centering accuracy of the drive member 11, the second intermediate member 14 and the driven member 15 can be secured sufficiently, while restraining dimensional increase of the starting device 1 in an axial direction and a radial direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic vibration absorber which is installed in a power transmission passage, for absorbing torsional vibration due to torque fluctuation of an engine.SOLUTION: The dynamic vibration absorber has a structure in which a disk-like body 1 is combined with side plates 2a, 2b at the both sides. The both side plates 2a, 2b are coaxial with the disk-like body 1 to be movably pivoted. A plurality of rolling holes 4a, 4b, ..., into which rollers 3, 3, ... are fitted, having smooth inner peripheral edges 5, at the outer periphery of the disk-like body 1 and the side plates 2a, 2b. The rolling holes 4a of the disk-like body 1 are slightly smaller than the rolling holes 4b of the side plates 2a, 2b. Circular arc long holes 12, 17 are formed in the disk-like body 1 and the side plates 2a, 2b to be fitted by a coil spring 11. A long hole 13 extending in the radial direction is formed at one of the disk-like body 1 and the side plates 2a, 2b, and a curved long hole 14 extending in the radial direction is formed at the other. A movable weight 15 is loosely fitted into the both.
