SOLUTION: The method for removing nitrogen from the condensed natural gas comprises means for (a) introducing the condensed natural gas into a distillation tower at its first position, extracting a nitrogen-enriched overhead vapor stream from the distillation tower, and extracting a refined liquefied natural gas flow from the bottom of the tower, for (b) introducing a low-temperature recirculating flow into the distillation tower at its second position above the first position, and compressing a cold medium flow containing nitrogen and applying work expansion thereto to produce cold which provides the low-temperature recirculating flow, for (c) (1) cooling the refined liquefied natural gas flow or cooling the condensed natural gas flow, or (2) cooling both the refined liquefied natural gas flow and the condensed natural gas flow, and compressing the cold medium flow containing nitrogen and applying work expansion thereto to produce the cold for (1) or (2). SOLUTION: This method for recovering components heavier than the methane from a natural gas includes processes (a) to (e) as follows: (a) forming the cooled natural gas raw material by cooling the natural gas raw material and then introducing the cooled natural gas raw material into an absorption column at a first position of the column; (b) extracting a first top vapor flow decreased in the components heavier than the methane and a bottom flow enriched in the components heavier than the methane from the absorption column; (c) introducing a reflux flow enriched in the methane into the absorption column at a second position located above the first position; (d) separating the bottom flow into a flow enriched in the methane and one or more flows enriched in the components heavier than ethane; and (e) introducing an absorption liquid containing the components heavier than the ethane into the absorption column at a position located between the first position and the second position.
