摘要： A flexible cylindrical material for lining conduits of drinking water, having an inside surface coated with an adhesive and a structure to be described below. This material is applied to the inside of a conduit by inserting it into the conduit inside out with the aid of a fluid pressure and pressing the inside surface of the lining material against the inside surface of the conduit. This material enables lining work to be conducted without causing pollution of water and with ease. The lining material comprises cylindrical cloth made by weaving or interlooping synthetic fibers and having an outer surface covered with two or three layers of the following resins: (1) in case of two layers: an outer layer: a polyolefin resin with an environmental stress cracking resistance of 1000 hours or above; and an inner layer: (i) a resin prepared by grafting an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid onto an ethylenevinyl acetate copolymer, or (ii) a mixture of 30 to 70 % of a resin prepared by grafting an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid onto an alpha -olefin polymer and 70 to 30 % of a styrene-ethylenebutylene-styrene resin composition; and (2) in case of three layers: the following interlayer is provided between the above-described outer and inner layers: an intermediate layer: a styrene-ethylenebutylene-styrene resin composition.

摘要： A lining material for duct, which comprises a cylindrical cloth formed by weaving or knitting synthetic filaments, having on the outer surface thereof a 2- or 3-layered film of the following resin material: i) 2-layered film; outer layer: a synthetic polyolefin resin having an environmental stress cracking resistance of 1000 hr or more; inner layer: (1) ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin grafted with an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid or, or (2) 30 to 70% of an a-olifen polymer grafted with an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and 70% to 30% of a styrene-ethylenebutylene-styrene resin composition; or ii) 3-layered film; an interlayer of the following resin being formed between the above-described outer and inner layers: interlayer: styrene-ethylenebutylene-styrene resin composition.
