摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound showing excellent selective germicidal/ fungicidal activity against a wide range of microorganisms and molds, useful as a selective germicidal/fungicidal agent for various crops by specifying the enantiomer excess ratio of (S)-enantiomer. SOLUTION: This 7-(1,1,1-trifluoroalkyl-2-amino)-triazolopyrimidine is shown by formula I (R1 is a 1-6C alkyl; CH* is a chiral carbon; Hal is halogen; and L1 to L5 are each H, an alkoxy or the like) and is an optically active compound having at least 70% enantiomer excess ratio of (S)-enantiomer, such as 5- chloro-6-(2,4,6-trifluorophenyl)-7-N-[(S)-1,1,1-trifluoropropyl-2-amin o)]-1,2,4- triazolo[1,5a]pyrimidine. The compound of formula I is obtained by treating a compound of formula II with an optically active amine of formula III [M is H or a liberated or complexed metal; enantiomer excess ratio of (S)- enantiomer is at least 70%].

Embodiments include a cochlear implant with electrodes for delivering charge to the cochlea of the recipient and stimulation circuitry for delivering the charge to the electrodes.
