    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive configured to reduce a probability that particles enter the inside of the disk drive.
      SOLUTION: The disk drive includes: a hub for supporting a recording disk; a base member 4 which has a bearing hole centering on a rotary shaft of the hub; a bearing unit 12 which supports the hub so as to be freely rotatable with respect to the base member 4 and is at least partly fixed to the bearing hole 4h; and a sealing material 54 interposed between the bearing hole 4h and the bearing unit 12. A plurality of resin reservoirs 200 having fine recesses to store the sealing material 54 are arranged in a circumferential direction of a contact part , on at least one of an inner peripheral surface of the bearing hole 4h and an outer peripheral surface of the bearing unit 12 at the contact part thereof.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the impact resistance of a rotating device in which a conductive resin is used to eliminate the static electricity of a disk.SOLUTION: In a rotating device 100, a housing 104 includes an outer cylindrical surface 104a facing a periphery 106ha of a through-hole 106h, and a guiding surface 104b which is located at the bottom of the outer cylindrical surface 104a and has a smaller diameter than that of the outer cylindrical surface 104a. Glue 108 has an interface 108a in an end space 110 between the guiding surface 104b and the periphery 106ha of the through-hole 106h, and a conductive resin 102 is continuously coated from the guiding surface 104b to the periphery 106ha of the through-hole 106h in at least a part of the end space 110 not having the interface. As for a part radically facing the guiding surface 104b in the periphery 106ha of the through-hole 106h, the length in the direction of the rotation axis of the part which contacts with the conductive resin 102 is longer than that of a part which contacts with the glue 108.
