Therefore, when data variation components remain overlapped at the same angle, CT imaging is performed one additional time (S1104) and the sinogram is corrected (S1102) using the sinogram obtained by performing the additional CT imaging.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus which can generate a preferable tomographic image.
      SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus performs CT imaged twice so as to reverse the phase of respiration with respect to the rotation of a measuring unit (X-ray generator and an X-ray detector) for one imaged region. Here, the system computes a respiration cycle or the like on the basis of projection data obtained by first CT imaged so as to decide on the timing of starting second CT imaging. The scanner generates sinograms 70a and 70b in which the projection data obtained from the CT imaging is arranged in order of rotation angles. The apparatus generates a corrected sinogram in which data of data variation parts b and f due to respiration of a first sinogram 70a is replaced with data of the corresponding part of the second sinogram 70b. At the end, the apparatus generates a tomographic image on the basis of the corrected sinogram.

      SOLUTION: An X-ray generator 10 irradiates a subject 90 with an X-ray fan beam 12. An X-ray detector 20 has a semiconductor device array 22 consisting of a plurality of semiconductor devices for detecting the fan beam 12. A cosmic ray component removing part 30 removes muon components included in the projection data of the fan beam 12. Specifically, the cosmic ray component removing part 30 determines whether muon components are included or not in a plurality of projection data by comparing the plurality of projection data detected at different hours, and removes the muon components. An image forming part 40 forms X-ray image data by executing the reconstruction arithmetic operation based on the projection data from which the muon components are removed.
