    • A bi-directional metering valve assembly includes a valve block (46) defining a first port (100) that receives hydraulic fluid from a source, and a second port (98) that directs hydraulic fluid to a load. A rotatable valve member (74) defines first (116) and second (114) apertures in an axial face, communicated by a channel (118) that may be placed in selective communication with the first (100) and second (98) ports, respectively, to direct hydraulic fluid from the source to the load. At least one metering sealing assembly defines a flange (132) that is sized to completely overlap and seal the correxponding aperture (114, 116). The valve member is operable to control the direction of fluid flow, and make fine adjustments to the hydraulic fluid flow rate.

    • A bi-directional metering valve assembly is provided to selectively direct hydraulic fluid under high pressure to a load. The assembly includes a valve block defining a first port that receives hydraulic fluid from a source, and a second port that directs hydraulic fluid toward a load. A rotatable valve member defines first and second apertures in an axial face that may be placed in selective communication with the first and second ports, respectively, to direct hydraulic fluid from the source to the load. At least one metering sealing assembly provides an interface between the valve block and the valve member. The metering sealing assembly includes a gasket that surrounds one of the first and second ports and defines a flange that is sized to completely overlap and seal the corresponding aperture. The valve member is operable to control the direction of fluid flow, and make fine adjustments to the hydraulic fluid flow rate.

    • A concrete reinforcement cable tensioning system is variably adjustable to apply different crimping for different sized cables. The system includes a concrete reinforcement cable tensioner having a first actuator for tensioning a cable extending through a concrete structure and a second actuator for crimping a grommet onto the cable. A first hydraulic line is in fluid communication with the first actuator and selectively provides pressurized hydraulic fluid to the first actuator. A second hydraulic line is in fluid communication with the second actuator and selectively provides pressurized hydraulic fluid to the second actuator. A normally closed pilot operated sequencing valve is disposed in the first hydraulic line, and has a pilot line in fluid communication with the second hydraulic line for sensing a pressure in the second hydraulic line, wherein the sequencing valve opens to exhaust hydraulic fluid from the first actuator upon the pressure in the second hydraulic line reaching a predetermined pressure. The predetermined pressure is variably changeable to accommodate different pressures required to crimp grommets on different sizes of cable.
