    • PURPOSE: A gauge corrector on a concrete railway track is provided to enable one operator to repair the gauge of railway easily, accurately and rapidly if deformation occurs on the gauge of rail on a concrete railway track. CONSTITUTION: A gauge corrector(30) on a concrete railway track comprises a body(31), a rail hanger(32), a ratchet wrench(33), and an insulator(37). The body is formed as a hollow pipe. The central part of the body is separated, and a block(31a) is installed so that a screw is fastened to the inner end of the separated part of the body. The rail hanger is installed on both ends of the body. The rail hanger makes tight contact with the side ends of both rails when a work is done. The ratchet wrench is installed on the central part of the body, and moving screws(34,35) are respectively fixed to both sides of the ratchet wrench.
