    • PURPOSE: A device for manufacturing a thin plate by the casting of non-parallel rolls is provided to enable both sides of a thin plate to become smooth since molten metal is supplied by gravity so that vortex is less formed, and surface is rolled by a compressing roll. CONSTITUTION: A device for manufacturing a thin plate by the casting of non-parallel rolls comprises a melting unit(20), a main casting roll(40) and a compressing roll(60). The melting unit holds molten metal(1). The main casting roll is arranged on the lower part of the melting unit and rotates so that molten metal from the melting unit is attached to outer circumferential surface to become a thin plate(3). The compressing roll is arranged on the upper part of the main casting roll to compress the top of the molten metal.

    • PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a metal fuel slug with a low loss and high yield and the metal fuel slug manufactured by the same are provided to minimize a fuel loss by preventing fuel materials from permeating through a crucible. CONSTITUTION: A dense ceramic layer is formed by coating an inner surface of a melting crucible with ceramic materials. The thickness of the ceramic coating layer is 3 to 300 um. Metal fuel materials are inputted to the melting crucible coated with the ceramic layer. The metal fuel materials are melted by heating the melting crucible with the metal fuel materials under an inert gas atmosphere. The melt metal fuel materials are supplied to a fuel slug mold.
