    • The present invention suggests a multi-function multi-stage safety injection facility including an safety injection tank for receiving coolant and gas so that the injection of the coolant is started at a gas-pressure safety injection mode when an accident requiring the safety injection into a reactor coolant system; an equivalent pressure pipe connected with the reactor coolant system and the safety injection tank so that a fluid discharged from the reactor coolant system is introduced into the safety injection tank, and for forming pressure equivalent between the reactor coolant system and the safety injection tank and inserted into an upper end portion of the safety injection tank so that the gas-pressure safety injection mode is changed into a gravity head difference-type safety injection mode to extend the water level of the coolant to the preset height if the water level of the coolant water of the safety injection tank is lowered to a preset height or less; and a multi-stage safety injection pipe coupled to the safety injection tank and the reactor coolant system to inject the coolant into the reactor coolant system and increasing fluid resistance according to the water level step by step so that an amount of the coolant, which is injected into the reactor coolant system, is decreased step by step as the water level of the coolant of the safety injection tank is lowered if the safety injection mode is switched.

    • PURPOSE: An emergency core coolant safety injection tank is provided to smoothly switch a great amount of coolant which is required for an initial state and a little amount of coolant which is required for a middle/last phase by including an opening and closing part. CONSTITUTION: A tank main body(120) stores a coolant and nitrogen gas. A flux control part(140) controls the discharging rate of the coolant. The flux control part comprises a flow controller(142) arranged in the lower side of the tank main body and a large flux amount inlet tube(144). An opening and closing part(160) are composed in order to seal the opening(144b) of the large flux amount inlet tube. The opening and closing part comprises a buoyancy water case(164) and a sealing plate(166).

    • PURPOSE: A safe injection tank including an anti-vortex device is provided to prevent early mixing of a nitrogen gas and to perform a large-scale flow rate conversion ratio of emergency core coolant. CONSTITUTION: A safe injection tank includes an anti-vortex device(100). The anti-vortex device is mounted in a bottom part inside the safe injection tank. The anti-vortex device prevents a rotation vortex generated in a top part of a vertical pipe(60) for absorbing a high flow rate. The vertical pipe is vertically installed, and penetrates a flow rate controller. The flow rate controller has an injection time of initial high flow rate and an injection time of last low flow rate. The anti-vortex device includes a horizontal top plate(10) and a side blocking plate(20). The horizontal top plate blocks a flow of emergency core coolant from a vertical direction. The side blocking plate is longitudinally extended from one end of the horizontal top plate. The side blocking plate blocks a flow of the emergency core coolant from the side.

    • An emergency core cooling system is provided to prevent excessive degradation of a coolant level inside a nuclear reactor by preventing inversion of inlet and outlet of an injection extension duct. An emergency core cooling system includes a direct injection nozzle(24) and an injection extension duct(26). The direct injection nozzle is attached on a top part of a nuclear reactor vessel(10). The injection extension duct is installed in an outer surface of a core barrel(12), and is faced with the direction injection nozzle. An emergency core coolant inlet(28) is formed on a surface of the injection extension duct in order to introduce a water jet sprayed from the direct injection nozzle to an inner part of the injection extension duct. A diameter of the emergency core cooling water inlet is two times of an internal diameter of the direct injection nozzle.
