    • PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of thermochromic glass is provided to manufacture the thermochromic glass having gray series color by coating photochromic thin film on vanadium oxide (VO2) thin film. CONSTITUTION: A thermochromic glass comprises a glass substrate (100), oxide or nitride thin film (200), vanadium oxide (VO2) thin film (300), and a photochromic thin film (400). The oxide or nitride thin film is formed on the glass substrate. The VO2 thin film is formed on the oxide or nitride thin film. The photochromic thin film is formed on the VO2. The photochromic thin film absorbs wavelength of 380-780nm. The photochromic thin film comprises at least any one of Silver (Ag), Silver halid, Zinc halid, Spiropyran, and Diarylethene. The VO2 thin film is doped with any one of Molybdenum (Mo), Tungsten (W), Chromium (Cr), Nickel (Ni), or Zirconium (Zr). A manufacturing method of thermochromic glass comprises the following steps. (i) The oxide or nitride thin film is coated on the glass substrate. (ii) VO2 thin film is coated on the oxide or nitride thin film by a sputtering deposition method. And (iii) the photochromic thin film is coated on the VO2 thin film.
