    • PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the thickness of a steelmaking slag is provided which has simple system structure and obtains a high accurately and high efficiently measured value by measuring using a resistance difference between molten steel and molten slag, and minimizes measuring expenses by using a semi-permanent measuring probe. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a probe in which a detecting coil is mechanically jointed with a connector of a ceramic material having superior heat and impact resistance at a metallic protective pipe and the interface thereof; a driving part (8) in which the probe is installed and LM guide and ball screws are installed for lifting the probe by a motor (7), wherein an encoder (9) is installed in the motor (7) for controlling an ascending and descending speed and an ascending and descending distance by controlling the position according to the rotation of the motor (7); an indicating part (10) connected to the encoder (9) for indicating the position and speed of the driving part (8); and a GPIB (13) connected between a multimeter (11) connected to an electrode terminal of the probe for measuring signals measured at the electrode terminal and a computer (12) processing the measured signals so as to transmit signals using a RS232C connector.

The ozonizer converts oxygen gas into Ozone gas. The electrolyzed ion water manufacturing device manufactures electrolyzed ion water by hydrolyzing supplied water or salt water. The process bath includes spray nozzles(12) spray the Ozone gas, which is generated by the ozonizer, and the electrolyzed ion water, which is manufactured by the electrolyzed ion water manufacturing device, onto both sides of a specimen(11) accommodated in the process bath. Each spray nozzle includes an ultrasonic module(14).

    • PURPOSE: A power supply line capable of reducing a magnetic field is provided to prevent an accident and a malfunction of an electric arc furnace by forming an electric wire of the electric furnace in a layered structure and forming a mast arm using conductive material and a frame. CONSTITUTION: A power supply line of an electric arc furnace includes an electric wire connected to a power supplying section, and a mast arm, into which the electric arm is inserted. The mast arm is fixedly installed on an electrode rod capable of removing slag through resistance heating. The electric wire has an annular conductive member(15) formed at a center of the electric wire, a magnetic member(16) surrounding the annular conductive member(15) and an insulating member(17) surrounding the magnetic member(16). The mast arm has a layered structure consisting of a first conductive member, a metal frame and a second conductive member.

CONSTITUTION: In a method for coating the surface of a substrate using a spray coating system in which the substrate(2) is perpendicularly mounted onto a holder(1) that is constructed so that it is rotated as being traversed, a spray coating gun(3) is oppositely installed with spaced apart from the substrate(2) in a certain distance, and a spray coating material is supplied between the substrate(2) and the spray coating gun(3), the method for coating a substrate with superior magnetic shielding property comprises the processes of: pretreating the surface of the substrate(2) by shot blasting; and spray coating Fe-6.5%Si powder having a size of 60 to 120 microns as a spray coating material(4) on the surface pretreated substrate, wherein the shot blasting is performed by projecting alumina powder under a pressure of 50 to 60 psi, and the spray coating is performed when a traverse rate and a rotation speed of the holder(1) are 3.0 to 3.5 cm/sec and 110 to 120 rpm respectively in the state that a distance between the spray coating gun(3) and a substrate(2) is 110 to 120 mm, and a pressure of a gas flowing inside the spray coating gun(3) is in the pressure range of 120 to 150 psi in the state that an output of the spray coating gun(3) is impressed in the range of 30 to 35 kw.
