    • A method for preparing a toner, a toner prepared by the method, an image forming method using the toner, and an image formation apparatus are provided to improve the uniformity of particle shape and particle size distribution by controlling the velocity of coagulation more rapidly and more uniformly. A method for preparing a toner comprises the steps of coagulating a polymer latex which contains a wax and has a bimodal particle size distribution and a colorant dispersion. Preferably the polymer latex is prepared by polymerizing a toner composition comprising 0.5-10 wt% of a macromonomer, 70-90 wt% of a polymerizable monomer and 0.1-20 wt% of a wax, and comprises a large particle size latex particle having a diameter of 0.2-1 micrometers and a small particle size latex particle having a diameter of 0.05-0.5 micrometers.
