    • A marker for diagnosing liver cancer of which expression is increased in plasma of patient is provided to detect a protein in plasma and early diagnose liver cancer by confirming the expression of protein. A composition of marker for diagnosing liver cancer comprises a liver-carboxyl esterase 1 protein in plasma as an active ingredient. The amount of the liver-carboxylesterase 1 protein of patient who suffers from liver cancer is more than that normal person in plasma. A method for screening liver cancer comprises: a first step of confirming the presence of the liver-carbxylesterase 1 from human blood sample using nano liquid chromatography and antibody immunoprecipitation; and a second step of detecting normal person and patient using immunoprecipitation, immnuoblotting, and nano liquid chromatography mass spectrometry.

The monoclonal antibody recognizes the epitope sequence of the amino acid 554-567 in the C-terminus of the human liver - carboxylicesterase 1 protein. The monoclonal antibody is immunoglobulin isotype of IgG1. The accession number KCLRF-BP-00282 hybridoma cell produces the monoclonal antibody.
