    • An adapter for a card is provided to enable a connector device to easily recognize whether a mounted part is a housing for mounting the card or the card directly mounted to the connector device. The housing(10) has a width fit for a card receiving part of the connector device and opens a side forming the contact part of the mounted card. An indicator(11g) makes the connector device recognize that the housing is mounted. The housing is made of resin and includes a metallic fame(11). The metallic part is buried in the housing, has both side parts having the almost same width as the width of the card, and receives the inserted card. The indicator is formed to a lower side of the metallic frame by extending the side part(11c) of the metallic frame.
