The first region, the second region, and the third region include cholestric liquid crystal layers with different liquid crystal pitches. A phase delay layer(120) is formed on the cholestric liquid layers and linearly polarizes light through the cholestric liquid layer.

    • PURPOSE: A composite reflective polarizing film and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve brightness by eliminating an adhesive layer between a phase difference film and a compensating layer and forming the phase difference film and the compensating layer into one body. CONSTITUTION: A composite reflective polarizing film(100) comprises a first base material(110), a cholesteric liquid crystal layer(120), a horizontal orientation liquid crystal layer(130), and a compensating layer. The cholesteric liquid crystal layer is directly formed on one side of the first base material. The compensating layer is formed on the other side of the first base material. The horizontal orientation liquid crystal layer is directly formed on one side of the compensating layer. An orientation film is included between the cholesteric liquid crystal layer and the horizontal orientation liquid crystal layer.
