    • An electrophoretic display device is provided to improve the color reproducibility by changing the color filter and pixel structure. A thin film transistor(105) is respectively formed in red, green, blue and white sub pixels(301,302,303,304). A gate electrode(111) is connected with a gate line on a lower substrate(101). An activation layer(131) is formed on a gate insulating layer so as to be overlapped with the gate electrode. A source electrode(141) is connected with the data line on the gate insulating layer(121) and an omic contact layer(133) so as to be overlapped with the gate electrode. A pixel electrode(160) is formed on a protective film(150). An electrophoretic layer(190) is adhered to the first substrate(100) through an adhesive(170).
