    • A method of manufacturing rumen-protected fat containing amino acid is provided to improve productivity of beef cattle and dairy cattle by supplying methionine, lysine and energy to the beef cattle and dairy cattle and to permit production of a high quality animal product. Rumen-protected fat containing amino acid is prepared by the steps of: preparing protected fat through a saponification reaction by mixing vegetable oil and metals; grinding the protected fat; and mixing, agitating and extruding the ground protected fat, amino acid and a binding/coating agent. The vegetable oil is one or more components selected from the group consisting of cotton seed oil, rape seed oil, palm oil, olive oil, sunflower seed oil, peanut oil, palm kernel oil, grape seed oil and corn oil. The metals are one or more components selected from the group consisting of sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, triethanol amine, monoethanol amine, sodium carbonate, calcium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide and zinc hydroxide. The amino acid is one or more components selected from the group consisting of lysine, methionine, glycine, alanine, valine, leucine, isoleucine, threonine, serine, cysteine, cystine, aspartic acid, asparagine, glutamic acid, diiodotyrosine, arginine, histidine, phenylalanine, tyrosine, tryptophan, proline and oxyproline.
