    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a base isolating device pedestal allowing the reuse of a plate.
      SOLUTION: A form 24 for placing concrete is built up on a foundation part 34 of a structure, and a cap nut 26 serving as a connecting member is installed inside the form 24. The plate 28 is mounted to the cap nut 26 (Fig.2(A)). The plate 28 is formed into a ring shape from a steel plate, and a through-hole 38 is provided at the position of the cap nut 26. The plate 28 is horizontally installed on the top surface of the base isolating device pedestal 10 on which a base isolating device 40 is installed, and the upper face is to be the installation height of the base isolating device 40. Concrete 30 is then placed inside the form 24 up to the height flush with the upper face of the plate 28 (Fig.2(B)). After the concrete 30 is hardened, the plate 28 is removed from the concrete 30 (Fig.2(C)). Finally, mortar 32 is filled in an annular recess 42 formed after removing the plate 28, and the upper face is finished to be flat.
