摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of preventing or reducing inconvenience that a user who uses a general hot-water supply terminal may experience even when a hot-water supply capacity of a hot-water supply unit runs short in the case of simultaneously performing general hot-water supply and hot-water supply to a bathtub.SOLUTION: The water heater includes: the hot-water supply unit which supplies hot water to be supplied to the general hot-water supply terminal and the bathtub; a general hot-water supply circuit which supplies hot-water towards the general hot-water supply terminal; a bathtub hot-water supply circuit which supplies hot-water toward the bathtub; a flow regulating valve arranged in the bathtub hot-water supply circuit; and a controller which controls the degree of opening of the flow regulating valve. The general hot-water supply circuit and the bathtub hot-water supply circuit are branched downstream of the hot-water supply unit; the flow regulating valve is arranged downstream of the branch portion between the general hot-water supply circuit and the bathtub hot-water supply circuit; and the controller controls the flow regulating valve to be closed when the hot-water supply capacity of the hot-water supply unit runs short in the case of simultaneously supplying hot-water to the general hot-water supply terminal and the bathtub.
