SOLUTION: This disc brake device is provided with a housing hole 38 formed in a caliper 30 as a support mechanism for the pad 33a (33b) so as to extend in a pressing direction of the pad 33a (33b), and a support member 40 having a part housed in the hole 38. A space (m) for permitting the support member 40 to rock in a predetermined region around a fulcrum P imagined on the pad 33a (33b) side on the same axis as that of the support member 40 is formed between the outer periphery of the support member 40 and the inner periphery of the hole 38. A spherical contact part 39 having a radius R of curvature centering the rocking fulcrum P of the support member 40 is formed between the bottom face of the hole 38 and the rear end of the support member 40.

SOLUTION: The pneumatic caliper brake device comprises a disk 6 to be rotated together with a wheel 5, a brake block 7 abutted on the disk 6 to impart the friction force thereto, a diaphragm 75 which is deformed by the change in the pneumatic pressure to apply the pressure on the disk 6 to the brake block 7, and a plurality of piston units 50 which are provided parallel to the brake block 7 to transmit the pressure of the diaphragm 75 to the brake block 7. The piston unit 50 comprises a plurality of pistons 55 arranged orthogonal to the brake block 7 and parallel thereto, and a pressure-receiving plate 51 which is provided between the piston 55 and the diaphragm 75 to connect the plurality of pistons 55 to each other, and to receive the pressure from the diaphragm 75. The brake block 12b is devised to be in parallel with a vertical surface (m) orthogonal with an axis (p) of the supporting pin 17 of the caliper 24 in braking by previously setting a brake block mounting surface 26 (refer to the drawing 2) of the caliper arm 24b not furnished with a piston at an angle α so as to compensate an angle of the brake block 12b to be inclined as the caliper arm 24b not furnished with the piston bends to open to the outside.
