The system includes at least one electrical machine (4), in particular an induction machine or travelling-wave machine, which is coupled, or can be coupled, to the shaft; at least one inverter (17) which generates the voltage and/or current of variable frequency, amplitude and/or phase necessary to produce the magnetic field of the electrical machine (4); and at least one control device (31) which controls the inverter (17) and hence the electrical machine (4) in such a way that the machine counteracts both positive and negative rotational non-uniformity of the shaft. The invention also concerns a method of actively reducing rotational non-uniformity using the system.

摘要： The invention relates to a device for reducing rotational irregularities of a unit (1, 2, 16) which rotates irregularly, especially of an internal combustion engine (1), comprising an electric machine (3, 15) which has at least two active units (4, 17; 5, 18) which rotate in relation to one another. The first of said active units is connected to the irregularly rotating unit (1, 2, 16)and the second can essentially rotate freely. Said electric machine (3, 15) induces relative torques between said active units (4, 17; 5, 18) to counteract the rotational irregularities, thus providing the support against the inert mass of the second active unit (5, 18) which can essentially rotate freely. Said relative torques are induced actively so that the moments of momentum which are transmitted to the freely rotating inert mass of the second active unit (5, 18) when a rotational irregularity occurs are greater than the moments of momentum which would be transmitted if the second active unit (5, 18) were simply connected to the first active unit (4, 17). The invention also relates to a corresponding method.
