摘要： The present invention is directed to a pharmaceutical composition comprising an extract of a mixture of Anemarrhena Rhizoma, a member of the family Liliaceae and, Phellodendron bark, a member of the family Rutaceae that produces analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, and its preparing method. The present invention is applicable to act on inflammation and pain, for example, chronic gastritis, arthralgia, benign prostate hyperplasia, chronic and recurrent cystitis, cervical disc, degenerative joint arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, tennis elbow, osteoportotic pain, migraine, diabetic neuropathy pain, right flank pain, etc. The present invention a crude extract suitable for long-period administration with less side effects. Also, the present invention does not lead to dependency or resistance.

摘要： The present invention relates to Aralia extracts and a therapeutic agent comprising Aralia extracts as an active ingredient. The composition and therapeutic agent according to the present invention are effective in preventing cataract, delaying the development of cataract, and treating cataract. According to the present invention, extracts of Aralia are obtained by extraction with alcohol. Addition of myo-inositol or taurine to the extracts will result in a synergistic effect in the treatment of cataract. In addition, oral administration of beverages, galenicals, and nutraceuticals, which comprise Aralia extracts as an active ingredient, will be effective in prevention, delay and treatment of cataract caused by complications of diabetes. Aralia extracts will have the same effect in the case where they are used as an ophthalmic agent. They can also be used as an eye drop or an eye ointment.

The mixed extract according to the present invention exhibits an anti-viral activity for hepatitis C and help prevents hepatic cirrhosis orginated from hepatitis C, and further treats hepatitis and hepatic cirrhosis by potentiating the immunological function to inhibit the proliferation of hepatitis C virus and stimulating the proliferation of T helper cells to increase the host immune system. Furthermore, the mixed extract of the present invention is a mixed extract of natural plants characterized in that it does not exhibit any side effects nor drug resistance, and its activity is maintained even when used for a long period.
