摘要： A method and an apparatus for thin film formation using off-set printing techniques, wherein a film-forming material is coated uniformly on a platform, which material is then transferred onto an object on which a thin film is to be formed. Coating the material on the platform is carried out by moving on the platform a roll coater which includes a distributing roller and a coating roller and which feeds the film-forming material onto the platform and by rotating the coating roller in a direction at which slippage in engagement between the coating roller and the platform is always involved in relation with the movement of the roll coater.

摘要： A whey protein having a phosphorus content reduced to below 0.15 mg per gram of protein, a manufacturing method thereof, a low-phosphorus hydrolysate highly purified having a low phosphorus content. The method comprises the steps of adjusting pH of the solution containing the whey protein to below 4, and contacting the solution with a cation exchange resin, sequentially contacting the solution with an anion exchange resin, thereby reducing the phosphorus content to below 0.15 mg per gram of protein, and the highly purified low-phosphorus whey protein hydrolysate of the present invention is available by hydrolyzing the above-mentioned low-phosphorus whey protein with proteases.

摘要： A friction-type stepless speed change device includes a frictional transmission elements composed of a pair of driving discs connected to an input shaft, and an annular driven disc connected to an output shaft and embraced between and urged against opposite conical surfaces of the driving discs into wedge-engagement to generate frictional force and allow power transmission from the driving discs to the driven disc. The driving discs are at a variable eccentricity relative to the driven disc, with which an effective pitch diameter of the driving discs is varied to effect a stepless speed change. For reducing the size of the frictional transmission elements while preserving a required torque capacity, the device further comprises a driving rotary unit for transmitting power from the input shaft to the driving discs at an increased rotational speed, and a driven rotary unit for transmitting power from the driven disc to the output shaft at a reduced rotational speed.

摘要： A band brake assembly for a bicycle includes a brake band having a brake lining and a brake drum to which the brake lining is urged by a brake operating cable in braking. According to the invention, the band brake assembly comprises a wire guide whose front half is in the form of an arc and fixed to an operative end of the brake band and whose rear half extends in a tangential direction of the brake band. An inner wire of the brake operating cable extends rearward along an outer surface of the wire guide and is fixed to a rear end of the wire guide. With this arrangement, the lining, brake band, wire guide and inner wire form a multiple or laminated connection to permit these members to shift slightly with each other when braking, thereby preventing resonance and absorbing or damping vibration caused in braking.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a low-phosphorus whey, the method including subjecting a raw whey liquid to a demineralization treatment using a nanofiltration method to obtain a low-chloride whey liquid in which the chloride content has been reduced to not more than 30 mmol per 100 g of solids, and passing the low-chloride whey liquid through an ion exchange resin to obtain an ion-exchanged whey liquid having a reduced phosphorus content, wherein the ion exchange resin is composed of an anion exchange resin, and at least an anion exchange resin in chloride form is used as the anion exchange resin. The method of manufacturing a low-phosphorus whey can reduce the phosphorus content within the whey while suppressing reduction in the calcium and magnesium content.

摘要： A protein hydrolysate comprising at least two types of peptides, characterized in that the rate of hydrolysis of protein is from 30 to 45%, the number average molecular weight is 300 or less, and the ratio of a weight average molecular weight to the number average molecular weight is greater than 1 and 2 or less, has excellent emulsifiability, and antigenicity thereof is low enough to be used for people who has predisposition to allergic diseases. This protein hydrolysate is obtained by hydrolysis of a protein starting material to a rate of hydrolysis in the range of 30 to 45%, and then bringing it into contact simultaneously or separately with two types of porous synthetic adsorbent respectively having an average pore radius of 2 to 8 nm and an average pore radius of 20 to 30 nm, the total surface area of the two porous synthetic adsorbents being in a range of 300 to 3000 m2 per 1 g (protein equivalent) of the obtained protein hydrolysate, and recovering the non-adsorbed component.
