    • For easy operation of switching a plurality of cameras, the cameras are arranged in juxtaposition such that the image-sensible range between the cameras partially overlap each other. A frame 36 indicative of a combined image-sensible range which includes an image-sensible range of each of the plurality of cameras is displayed on a monitor screen, and a frame 38 indicative of an image-sensing range of a selected camera is displayed in the frame 36 with a position and size corresponding to the direction and magnification of the image sensing. A sensed image of a corresponding camera is continuously displayed in the frame 38. By moving the frame 38, the image-sensing direction of the corresponding camera is controlled, and by enlarging/reducing the frame 38, the magnification of the corresponding camera is controlled. When the frame 38 is moved to an image-sensible range of another camera, a camera subject to the control operation or image displaying is switched to another camera which corresponds to the new image-sensible range.

    • In a display of a hyper text, a hysteresis of an access to a reference file is stored into an access hysteresis file together with attribute information of the reference file. On the basis of the hysteresis of the access stored in the access hysteresis file, the presence or absence of the access to the file on the reference destination side corresponding to each link is judged. With respect to the reference file which was judged such that there was the access, on the basis of the attribute information stored in the access hysteresis file, a variation after the access of the reference file is detected. A link corresponding to the reference file is displayed in a display form according to the detected variation in a manner such that the presence or absence of the access which was judged can be discriminated. Thus, in a hyper text system, the user can recognize the variation after the access of the reference file which was accessed before.

    • A cooperative activity system, in which a plurality of computer devices are connected via a network, performs an activity by cooperation among the computer devices. A server for recording data is connected to the network and monitors data transferred to the network, creates a keyword conforming to the type of data when the data is transferred and stores the keyword in a file. While data is not being generated, a keyword is created depending upon (1) whether a specific time has arrived, (2) the lapse of time spent in a certain length of a cooperative activity or (3) the passage of a prescribed period of time from an immediately preceding item of data, and both the keyword and the particular event are stored as a file. As a result, desired cooperative activity data can be read out by performing retrieval based upon the keyword.
