    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asbestos recovering apparatus which can efficiently recover asbestos in a single scraping operation without a residue even if a sprayed surface to which the asbestos is sprayed includes asperities or a curved surface.
      SOLUTION: The asbestos recovering apparatus 1 is formed of a head portion 10 and a suction means. The head portion 10 is formed of: a plurality of rotary bodies 11 which are each provided with scraping teeth 12 as scraping means for scraping asbestos sprayed to the sprayed surface, on an peripheral surface thereof; a plurality of bearing members 13 as bearing means for supporting the rotary bodies 11, respectively; spring members 14 as pressing means for resiliently pressing the rotary bodies 11 supported by the bearing members 13 to the sprayed surface, respectively; and an enclosing body 15 enclosing the rotary bodies 11. The suction means functions to set the interior of the enclosing body 15 in a negatively pressurized state, and to suck the asbestos scraped by the scraping teeth 12.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for detoxifying a heavy metal-containing composition which can attain simplification and miniaturization of the apparatus while enhancing reaction efficiency and can attain reduction of energy cost too.
      SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for detoxifying the heavy metal-containing composition is provided with a negative pressure producing means which produces negative pressure by jetting an acid or an alkali solution as a high-pressure fluid into a reaction pipe 10, a warming means which warms a mixture obtained by mixing high-pressure fluid with the heavy-metal-containing composition sucked in from a storage tank 13 into the reaction pipe 10 by the negative pressure produced by the negative pressure producing means and an electromagnetic wave irradiation means which irradiates the warmed mixture with electromagnetic waves. The warming means and the electromagnetic wave irradiation means are successively disposed in the reaction pipe 10 on a downstream side of the negative pressure producing means.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle having a simple structure, capable of finely granulating a liquid, and easy for maintenance and a gas-liquid atomizer provided with the nozzle.
      SOLUTION: The gas-liquid atomizer 1 comprises a compressor 10 as a compressing apparatus for compressing and sending air, a water supply apparatus 20 as a supply apparatus for supplying a liquid, and a nozzle 30 for taking in the compressed air from the compressor 10 and the liquid supplied from the water supply apparatus 20, respectively and discharging them in atomized state. The nozzle 30 is provided with a hollow cylindrical outer cylinder 31 having an intake port 33 for taking in compressed air in the upstream side and a hollow cylindrical inner cylinder 32 inserted into the outer cylinder 31 for taking in the liquid from the upstream side, and an adjustment part for adjusting a position of the inner cylinder 32 in the outer cylinder 31 in the axial direction. The inner cylinder 32 has a discharge port 37 for discharging the liquid to the inside of the outer cylinder 31 and a solid tapered part 38 formed at the tip end and having a diameter becoming wider toward the downstream.

      SOLUTION: The cultivation vessel 1 includes a cultivation vessel body 10 and a planar heat generator 20 fitted to the cultivation vessel body 10 for warming the interior of the cultivation vessel body 10. Use of the cultivation vessel 1 enables elimination of broken roots and/or hairy roots B only by warming the soil in the cultivation vessel body 10 by means of the planar heat generator 20 even when the broken roots and/or the hairy roots B of a preceding plant (A) remain in the soil, so as to prevent continuous cropping injury due to growth-inhibiting substance secreted from the roots of the plant itself. Only heating the soil in the cultivation vessel body 10 by the planar heat generator 20 enables extinction of pathogenic plant bacteria adhering to the broken roots or the hairy roots B or pathogenic plant bacteria living in the cultivation vessel body 10.

    • An airbag apparatus for protecting knees is provided. A breakable portion is provided in a wall of a glove compartment door for opening and closing an opening of a glove compartment. A front part of the airbag case is caused to function as a pressure receiving portion for receiving a pressure of the inflation fluid through the inflating airbag, thereby generating a reaction force advancing toward the rear side of the vehicle, so that the breakable portion is broken by the airbag inflating toward the rear side of the vehicle. The airbag is caused to protrude from the glove compartment door to the rear side of the vehicle through the breakable portion. A reinforcement member for reinforcing the glove compartment door is provided inside the wall and is fixed to a part other than the breakable portion of the glove compartment door, and the airbag case is attached to the reinforcement member.
