    • The present invention relates to a pedaling-assisting transmission, and particularly, to an apparatus which senses stepping pressure being applied onto a pedal by a rider, and actively controls a motor driving force for driving a motor in accordance with the sensed stepping pressure. The apparatus comprises: a fixed shaft (100) fixed on a vehicle frame; a hub shell (200) rotatably supported at an outer surface of the fixed shaft (100) to output a follower force; an electromotive-force-driven unit (300) driven by the rotation of a motor (310); a manual-force-driven unit (400) which receives, as an input, a driving force produced by the pedaling of the rider, and which is driven by the received driving force; a selective output unit (500) arranged among the electromotive-force-driven unit (300), the manual-force-driven unit (400) and the hub shell (200) so as to selectively transmit, to the hub shell (200), an output from either the electromotive-force-driven unit (300) and the manual-force-driven unit (400), which rotates at a speed higher than that of the other; a torque sensor (600) which senses driving forces being applied from an external source to the manual-force-driven unit (400); and a control unit (not shown) which controls the rotating speed of the motor (310) in accordance with the driving forces sensed by the torque sensor (600). The apparatus of the present invention not only enables the rider to easily accelerate the vehicle, should the rider so desire, through the motor by pedaling without an additional operation, but also enables multi-stage gear-shifting to be autonomously performed in the apparatus by means of a multi-stage planetary gear, thereby achieving suitable torque and speed in accordance with travel conditions.

    • The present invention relates to a one-side fixing type transmission. In particular, a transmission using a planetary gear is improved so as to be able to be fixed at one side of a vehicle frame. The above transmission may be employed in a foldable bicycle, particularly in a one-side wheel type foldable bicycle so as to be reduce the volume basically occupied by a general foldable bicycle at the time of transporting or keeping thereof. Simultaneously, transmission may be carried out in multiple steps according to the running conditions when riding the bicycle, thereby maximizing the marketability of the bicycle as well as the transmission and the convenience on behalf of users.

    • The present invention concerns a speed controller for a motor which prevents interference from reverse input. For a known speed controller for a motor, a drive shaft of the motor outputs a constant forward rotation speed to an output cover and it outputs different speeds to the output cover in reverse rotation thereof. According to the present invention, when two driven members are coupled with a drive shaft at a constant speed and different speeds, at least one driven member of two members is not driven at any positions, so reverse power input from the output cover does not interfere with the other driven member. A key protrudes from the outer circumference of the drive shaft and is combined with a pole-mounting ring, wherein a key groove is formed. The width of the key groove is larger than the key. Lower parts of a constant-speed pole and a different-speed pole which are differently oriented to each other are extended downward and mounted in the pole-mounting ring. As the pole-mounting ring is friction-fixed by a separate frictional pin, one or both poles may be moved by the key to a horizontal position according to the rotational direction of the drive shaft. Furthermore, the circumference of the drive shaft is polygonal and whereon a constant-speed ball and a different-speed ball are distanced from each other and are combined with a ball-mounting ring. The top and bottom of the ball-mounting ring protrude. As the ball-mounting ring is friction-fixed by a separate frictional pin, one or both balls may be separated from the circumference of the drive shaft according to the rotational direction of the drive shaft.
