    • A manually tightened chuck including a hollow chuck body member, provided with three bores inclined forwardly toward a central axis. A jaw is slidable in each inclined bore, a nut is sheathed on the peripheral surface of the chuck body member, and is interconnected with each jaw through threads. A peripheral surface of the nut is provided with a front sleeve, and on a peripheral surface of the chuck body member a rear sleeve is sheathed also. In the middle of the chuck body member a stepped part extends radially outwardly and includes a surface opposite to a rear end surface of the nut. Plural bearing balls are disposed in circular grooves formed in the opposed surfaces of the nut and chuck body member.

    • A lock type manually tightened chuck includes a front cover, an inner cover, a driving nut and a chuck body. The front cover is located at the front side of chuck body. The driving nut is fixed to the chuck body in the middle part thereof. A plurality of thin pillars are fixedly attached to the inner cover circumferentially. A plurality of elastic pallets at an end thereof respectively connect with the thin pillar firmly, and the other ends of the pallets has a stick-up respectively. The inner cover is fixedly set around the driving nut. The front cover at the inner wall thereof has a plurality of recesses and each of the recesses has two lateral walls with one of the lateral walls contacting the walls of the thin pillars and the other lateral walls are disposed at the pick-ups of the pallets to lean against each other. A set of ratchets is disposed at the chuck body evenly to correspond to the pallets. The lock type manually tightened chuck can prevent the drill from loosening when it is in work and can be used under being frequently subjected to impact loads.

    • This invention provides a self-locking keyless drill chuck comprising a drill body, three clamping jaws, a nut, a front sleeve and a rear sleeve. A thread connection is adopted between the clamping jaws and the nut, wherein the rear sleeve is rotatably installed outside the drill body, the inner side of the front sleeve is provided with a ring gear at the rear part of the nut, a ring which cannot rotate relative to the drill body is arranged outside the drill body, the ring is provided with a member which is with the gear and takes part in self-locking, the rear sleeve is provided with or connected with an inner sleeve rotated with the rear sleeve, the inner sleeve is provided with a structure acting on the member taking part in self-locking. This invention has the advantages of more conveniently assembling and achieving self-locking of the drill chuck through operating the rear sleeve. The drill bit clamped by the clamping jaw cannot be easily loosened and slipped even under the impact of an impulsive load.

    • A manually tightened chuck, having a hollow chuck body member, provided with three inclined bores along periphery with same interval in chuck body member. A jaw is installed in each inclined bore slidably. A nut is sheathed in the middle of chuck body member, and the nut is interconnected with each jaw through threads. A front sleeve is provided at the front end of the chuck body member, and a rear sleeve is provided at the rear end. The nut is of duplex-half type structure, on its peripheral surface a nut sleeve is sheathed, between the nut sleeve and the nut is of stationary fit. The profile of said nut sleeve is a polygon, a polygonal hole fitted with said outer profile is formed correspondingly in the inner part of said front sleeve. The machining of both front and nut sleeves of the chuck is more simple, and both front and nut sleeves are more stable after installation, during operation of the chuck no radial jitter of both front and nut sleeves is created.
