    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection warning device for a bicycle for, when a bicycle travels on a pedestrian road, warning the user of the bicycle that the pedestrian road is not a lane on which the bicycle should travel.
      SOLUTION: An infrared ray is emitted to a pedestrian who passes a pedestrian road and the user of a bicycle, and an infrared ray reflected from the pedestrian and the user of the bicycle is received. The received infrared ray is converted into an electric signal, and analyzed so that from which of the user of the traveling bicycle or the pedestrian the received infrared ray has been reflected is determined. Thus, when determining that the infrared ray reflected by the bicycle has been received, the user of the bicycle is warned that the pedestrian road is not a lane on which the bicycle should travel, and the user of the bicycle is reminded that the user should travel on a bicycle road.
