摘要： The present invention provides an Al-Si based sintered alloy of high strength and high ductility, a method for production thereof and use thereof. The alloy comprises 1-45% of Si, 0.1-20% of an element of Group IIIa, 0.01-5% of at least one element of Groups IVa and Va, the balance of substantially Al. This alloy can further contain at least one of 0.01-5% of Cu, 0.01-5% of Mg, 2.0% or less of Fe, 1.5% or less of Mn and 1.5% or less of Co and the oxygen content is reduced to 0.15% or less by sintering under vacuum. The present invention is applied to automobile parts such as a piston and scroll compressors. The alloy has a tensile strength of about 40 kg/mm.sup.2 or higher and an elongation of 1.5% or more at 150.degree. C.

摘要： Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a machine component of sintered ferriferous composite comprising an outer part and an inner part which is fitted into a hole of the outer part. It has the steps of: preparing one of the outer part and the inner part as a green compact of ferriferous powdered metal and the other as one of a green compact of ferriferous powdered metal, a sintered compact of ferriferous powdered metal and a mass of ferriferous molten metal; inserting the inner part into the hole of the outer part; and sintering the outer part and the inner part to bond the outer part and the inner part. The outer part and the inner part are prepared to have a fitting clearance of approximately -100 to +5 .mu.m. When only the outer part is prepared as a green compact, the outer part is prepared to contain substantially no zinc, and the atmosphere at the sintering step is substantially non-carburizing atmosphere, and when the inner part is prepared as a green compact, the outer and inner parts are prepared so that only the inner part contains zinc, and the atmosphere at the sintering step is substantially carburizing atmosphere.

摘要： A permanent magnet type rotor comprises an inner member 2 having an outer ring portion 21; an approximately annular outer member 1 having soft magnetism and an inner circumference contacting with an outer circumference of the outer ring portion; and plural permanent magnets 3 disposed at equal intervals on the outer circumference of the outer member toward the circumferential direction. At least one of the inner member 2 and the outer member 1 is made from a sintered material, and the inner member 2 and the outer member 1 are mutually sintered and bonded. Thickness and weight of a dynamotor itself can be reduced and high output and high efficiency can be achieved.
