    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which is usable for various purposes of displaying figures, patterns, etc., by using a macromolecule actuator.
      SOLUTION: The display device is characterized in that a plurality of cells 10 are fitted to a support plate 18 while each having one end side opened and a macromolecule actuator which causes the tip side of a light transmission part 16a to flex to deform is arranged in each cell. The macromolecule actuator 16 is provided to the support plate 18 so that the base end part of the light transmission part 16a is inserted with the support plate 18 in the thickness direction and the tip side of the light transmission part 16a is movable, a light diffusion plate 11 is provided at an opening part of each cell 10, and each cell is provided with a color filter 12 with which a monochromatic color filter is combined in the middle between the diffusion plate 11 and light transmission part 16a and also provided with a voltage control part which controls a voltage applied to the electrode of the light transmission part to flex the light transmission part 16a.
