    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual-type elevating device for lighting fixture installation in which a series of operations such as installation of a lighting fixture, lamp replacement, maintenance, and danger of work can be made, using a simple constitution.
      SOLUTION: First, a safety lock 22 is released, in order to operate a pedestal fitting 26 on which a lighting fixture or the like is installed. Then, when an operating fitting 18 is pulled by using an expanding type operating rod 21, a fall-preventing hook 27 is released, and the pedestal fitting 26 for fixture installation moves vertically through a pole. Because of this, the working position moves to the position of adjusting bolt 30, and work can be made smoothly without hazards. After work, the pedestal fitting 26 is raised to the upper part so that the fall prevention hook 27 is locked. Lastly, the safety lock 22 is set.

    • An abnormal noise correction verification apparatus is provided that can easily verify the effectiveness a corrective action with respect to an abnormal noise being generated. The apparatus has at least one vibration sensor, which detect vibrations of the vehicle. The apparatus extracts a signal in a specific frequency band for the vibrations detected from the vibration sensor. The apparatus stores a pre-corrective action signal extracted from the vibration sensor, which is from before eliminating a cause of abnormal noise, and a post-corrective action signal extracted from the vibration sensor, which is from after eliminating the cause of abnormal noise. Both pre-corrective action signal and the post-corrective action signal were detected under identical travel conditions by the vibration sensor. The apparatus then synchronizes and separately outputs the pre-corrective action signal and the post-corrective action signal for comparison.

    • An apparatus for continuously forming a glass-ceramic which melts raw materials and forms melted glass to a predetermined shape without cutting the melted glass and thereafter continuously crystallizes the formed glass to the glass-ceramic is provided. The apparatus includes a melting device for melting raw materials, a flow tube for conveying the melted glass, a flow quantity control device connected to the flow tube for controlling the flow quantity of the melted glass, a pressing device for pressing the melted glass from the flow tube into a predetermined form, a glass preform checking device for measuring the weight or volume of the glass preform and feeding back a difference signal corresponding to a difference between the measured value of the weight or volume and a reference value to the flow quantity control device, the flow quantity control device controlling the quantity of the melted glass flowing through the flow tube in response to the difference signal to reduce the difference between the measured value and the reference value, and a crystallizing device for crystallizing the glass preform. The flow tube has an inner diameter which becomes smaller toward a melted glass outlet.
